This summer on a beautiful sunny day we had the great pleasure to document Zara and Joe’s outdoor rustic wedding held at an enchanting Leicestershire wedding venue, The Woodlands. “From the start, we both knew that we always wanted an outdoor wedding that was at a venue close to home and family. We got engaged in December 2021 and searched for outdoor venues until May when we settled on the Woodlands. We then spent the next few months deciding on themes, suppliers and other things for our special day”, shared the Bride.

It was a great pleasure to be The Woodlands wedding videographer. Tucked into the forest, the outdoor rustic venue is without a doubt one of the most charming outdoor wedding venues in Leicestershire. This secluded wedding venue surrounded by tranquil forest provided a unique backdrop for a rustic wedding of Zara and Joe. “The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall was one of three outdoor venues that we visited before making our decision. However, we knew almost immediately that this would be the location for our wedding – the picturesque setting, the closeness of all the family cabins to the venue, and the rustic feeling of the venue made it a perfect choice. It was also close enough to Nottingham that most of our loved-ones could join us without having to travel too far”, shared Zara and Joe.
