Recently we had a great pleasure to document a magical cherry blossom theme wedding of Nish and Rob held at a beautiful wedding venue, Chatsworth House. “I always had a vague idea that I’ll be using cherry blossoms for my wedding, so I built on that idea by using Pinterest as well as bouncing ideas off Helen”, shared Bride. Nish and Rob’s civil wedding was a beautiful event and without a doubt the cherry blossoms wedding decor produced an enchanted background setting for Nish and Rob’s civil ceremony and reception.

CHATSWORTH HOUSE WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

As a Peak District videographer I started documenting Nish and Rob’s wedding from the bridal preparations. Nish looked absolutely stunning in her floral-inspired lace wedding dress by Sophia Tolli. The location of Nish and Rob’s wedding was breathtaking! Chatsworth House is without a doubt one of the best wedding venues in Derbyshire. Situated in the heart of the stunning Derbyshire countryside in the Peak District, Chatsworth House was an exceptional location for Nish and Rob’s civil wedding ceremony and wedding reception.

“I wish I had a more romantic explanation of why I chose Chatsworth!! Unfortunately I am a very practical and pragmatic person! As soon as Rob proposed to me and we decided on dates, I opened Google maps, plotted dots as to where Rob’s families were located up North and then just searched for wedding venues within that radius. Chatsworth House came up and I booked it. It’s only after I booked it that Rob told me the history and importance of the place!”, shared the Bride.

BRIDE’S TIP FOR PLANNING A SAKHURA THEMED WEDDING

With such a beautiful cherry blossom themed wedding we could not help ourselves but asked the Bride if she has any advice for couples who are planning their beautiful wedding. “I would highly advise to have a budget and to be very realistic about what on/how they should spend it. To understand that during the planning stage, they will realise that some things are worth spending extra on, and some expenditures are just not worth the extra money. I realised that I wanted to spend extra on flowers to achieve that “Sakura” romantic feel whereas spending extra on thicker envelopes for the wedding invite wasn’t necessary. So be fluid with the budget, but prioritise what to spend it on”, explained Nish.

Nish and Rob decided to take the stress out of their Big Day and decided to hire a professional wedding planner. “The planning process was mainly about getting a wedding planner to do all the planning for me! I am not from the English culture so I needed someone on board who would make sure that the wedding was up to standards. What was important to me was for Rob to have the quintessential English wedding. I couldn’t have done it without Helen. I needed someone who could work with me, guide me but also be on board with my vision; and Helen did all of that”, shared the Bride.
