THE BOHO WEDDING OF ANNIE AND TOM

The perfect wedding day should be one that mirrors you as a couple and lets your personalities shine. With the wedding on Annie and Tom, their whole day was a beautiful reflection of their lives together and was an insight into their future together. With a church service followed by a stunning reception at an idyllic farm owned by the bride’s parents, the intimacy and magic of the occasion were plain to see. As a cinematographer, I was thrilled to see this wedding unfold and honoured to be a part of a farm wedding that was so special and personal.

A BRILLIANT BARN WEDDING

The perfect wedding cinematography needs personality and flair to stand out. With Annie and Tom, this came naturally as their characters shone throughout the whole day. From wedding preparations before the event, Annie and her friends laughed, chatted and smiled. Tom and his pals joked around while getting suited and booted. Everyone was relaxed because this celebration of love between a couple so perfect for each other was entirely natural.

The church service was powerful and emotive. The chilled-out vibe of this special day became heightened with the significance and importance of the service for Annie and Tom to become a married couple. Of course, Annie and Tom had their personality run throughout the service too. The Order of Service that was handed out to guests was rustic and charming, with bows crafted from dried grass.

THE HAPPY COUPLE

Naturally, Annie looked stunning in an intricate white lace, and satin gown. Tom was a handsome country gentleman in his suit, a real showcase of his style and heritage. Annie also nodded to her country roots with a beautiful bouquet of classic country flowers. The delicate powder-blue candle delphiniums were a perfect accompaniment in a traditional country garden posy which also featured wheat strands and full white roses.

What stood out with every smile, kiss and laugh shared between the couple was a sign that their wedding day was a chance to solidify their friendship as well as cement and celebrate their love for one another.

FARM WEDDING CELEBRATIONS

After the church service, the happy couple were showered in confetti by celebrating family and friends. Annie and Tom then hopped aboard Tom’s beloved tractor to make their way to the farm to continue the celebrations and make their wedding day one that they’ll never forget.

The sun-dappled view and picturesque views wherever you turned was the ideal setting for the wedding film. As a cinematographer, I loved capturing the gorgeous views of the farm that changed with the movement of the sun. It was perfect to film the beautiful scenery and the natural love between Annie and Tom. From seeing them with their dogs to having fun on the hay bales with their friends, Annie and Tom made sure to put their unique stamp on the day. This made the day so wonderful and the wedding film so enjoyable to craft.

After the magical sunset, the music spilt out from the marque, fire pits were crackling and provided the warmth and happy guests danced under the stars. The bucking bronco added yet another fun twist that kept the smiles and laughter going. All in all, the wedding was perfectly personal and a true reflection of an ideal boho wedding.
