Few months ago on a beautiful sunny day we had the great pleasure to document Eleni and Alex’s small and intimate wedding held at one of the best Gloucestershire wedding venues, Berkeley Castle. “We had both always imagined a small, intimate wedding where everyone came together for a long weekend, rather than just for the day. Berkeley Castle was perfect for this because all of our family and friends were able to stay at two houses on the estate. We made a weekend out of it – going clay pigeon shooting, out to the pub, a large family dinner of fish and chips in the garden, and a cocktail making class. One of our guests told us that by the time they got to the day of the wedding, it felt like everyone there was already friends with each other, even though they had just met two days prior. That was exactly what we wanted”, shared Eleni.

As a Gloucestershire wedding videographer, I truly enjoyed filming Eleni and Alex’s beautiful Berkeley Castle wedding. It was an amazing day full of love, fun and great weather. ” One of our favourite moments of the day? The wedding ceremony itself. The weather was great and everything was amazing. We loved having our family and friends being part of our ceremony as well”, said Eleni and Alex.

This traditional rural Estate extending to approximately 6,000 acres in Gloucestershire’s Berkeley Vale provided a unique backdrop for an elegant wedding of Eleni and Alex. ” Eleni wanted something historic, with real importance and longevity. Alex wanted something impressive looking as the backdrop for the wedding. A castle fit the bill well. Berkeley castle worked really well and the grounds were fantastic”, shared Alex.
