Just a few months ago on a beautiful sunny day we had the great pleasure to document Sheena and Callum’s beautiful fusion wedding held at a charming Northamptonshire wedding venue, Barton Hall. “Our wedding had two main themes – contemporary and romantic. We used sage green, champagne, ivory and classic neutral colours and paired that with idyllic décor and flower arrangements. We took inspiration from outdoor Italian/French weddings set within grand castles/villas/chateaus surrounded with well manicured gardens”, shared the Bride.

As a Northamptonshire wedding videographer I truly enjoyed filming Sheena and Callum’s beautiful Barton Hall wedding. It was an amazing day full of love, great food and fun. “Our favourite moment? Straight after our ceremony in the gardens stood by ourselves laughing. It was our first moment together on the day as just the two of us where we got to talk to each other and appreciate it!!!”, said Sheenna.

It was a great pleasure to be the Barton Hall wedding videographer. Set in nearly 10 acres of picturesque grounds Barton Hall is without a doubt one of the best wedding venues in Northamptonshire. This idyllic award-winning grade 1 listed wedding venue with its beautiful grounds provided a unique backdrop for a natural, romantic wedding of Sheena and Callum. “We picked it for sentimental reasons – it is next to our first home we bought together. We discovered when we moved here that Barton Hall used to be the family home and our house was part of the farm buildings that accompanied it before it was developed. When we found out Barton Hall hosted weddings it felt like fate to have our ceremony there”, shared Sheena and Callum.

BRIDE’S TIPS FOR PLANNING A ROMANTIC WEDDING

We love when our Bride and Groom share their experience about planning a dream romantic wedding. Here are a few tips from Sheena, our lovely Bride on how to plan a romantic, contemporary wedding at Barton Hall. “The most important thing for us was having an event that incorporated themes from both Scottish and Indian cultures, so it felt inclusive to everyone attending. So we started with a list of all those ideas we wanted to have on the day and then worked back from there to figuring out how/where we could fit them into the day – the result being a Scottish themed ceremony followed by an Indian themed evening with music and dress code to accompany both”, explained Sheena. “Find the venue first and set your vision from there within what is achievable at the venue”, added the Bride.
