Last month on a beautiful day we had the great pleasure to document Melissa and Sam’s wedding held at one of the best Norfolk wedding venues, Hockwold Hall. “ Our main goal was to a have a Sage green and pastel themed wedding, we asked our guests to try and keep to this theme which tied in with the decorations. Surprisingly people were excited to have a colour theme to stick to, I think it really pays off with the photos and videos and helps blend both families together”, shared Melissa. “Our planning process went very smoothly as we’d basically booked all our suppliers about 18 months before day, we visited lots of venue open days and viewed plenty of venues before deciding on Hockwold Hall. The most important thing when planning the wedding was picking suppliers that we believed would do their most to create our special day”, added Melissa.

As a Nortfolk wedding videographer, I truly enjoyed filming Melissa and Sam’s Hockwold Hall wedding. It was an amazing day full of fun, love and magic. “Our favourite moment? The excitement knowing I was going to come down the aisle soon, seeing Sam at the end of the aisle, holding hands during the ceremony and seeing everyone else be really happy for us”, shared Melissa. “For a single moment I would say right after the ceremony once we’d walked out and had a few minutes to ourselves, just looking at each other saying we’d actually done it”, said Sam.

HOCKWOLD HALL WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

It was a great pleasure to be a Hockwold Hall wedding videographer. This Grade 2 listed building situated on 50 acres of lush gardens provided a unique backdrop for an elegant Norfolk wedding of Melissa and Sam. “When we went to view the Hockwold Hall it was a very rainy day in November, after being shown around the main venue, grounds and marquee, we left in complete agreement that we couldn’t get married anywhere else. We felt like it was the first venue we’d seen where we wouldn’t be making any compromises”, shared the Bride. “Although every bit of planning was intended for being outside, unfortunately the weather had other plans for us and when it came down to it, it didn’t matter and we loved our indoor ceremony”, added the Groom.
