This summer on a beautiful day we had the great pleasure to document Kitty and Matt’s relaxed and fun wedding held at an enchanting Berkshire wedding venue, Bel and The Dragon. “The whole planning process was fairly straight forward! The most important thing for us was the venue, we knew exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted and it took a little while to find something that ticked all the boxes. We’re both designers so had a clear vision of the kind of aesthetic we wanted. We designed all our own stationary for the day, and chose all the decorations to match. We choose suppliers based on the relaxed atmosphere that we wanted to create (nothing overly traditional or cheesy), and they all delivered! “, shared the Bride.

BEL AND THE DRAGON WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

It was a great pleasure to be The Bel and The Dragon wedding videographer. This full of character venue with the stationary boat on the river provided a unique backdrop for a fun and relaxed wedding of Kitty and Matt. “We wanted somewhere fairly close to home; we’re really lucky to have a large group of friends who we grew up with, so wanted something that was convenient for them to get to and wouldn’t cost them too much money to travel to. We also wanted to avoid anything too traditional/stuffy. We instead wanted a space that was a bit more relaxed/informal, and ideally a space that would allow for large numbers but would still feel intimate, so felt the Bel & Dragon was perfect. We also loved the history and character of the building; it was originally an old biscuit factory! And the fact you could have the ceremony on the boat was so fab. It was also such a bonus that everything at the venue was in such close proximity…myself and my bridesmaids got ready in the rooms upstairs, and then the ceremony and main venue space were just next to each other which was very convenient, especially as it ended up being a rainy day.”, shared Kitty and Matt.
