Just a few months ago on a beautiful sunny day we had the great pleasure to document Ginny and Andrew’s beautiful natural wedding held at a bright and airy Northamptonshire wedding venue, Barton Hall. “We wanted a fresh, natural look so had a lot of white, neutral tones and greens. Our wonderful event stylist Alex from Stingray Events (who we highly recommend) once described the look as ‘Romantic Garden’, we had an idea of what we wanted but she truly brought it all together. She had an idea for the reception room which involved hanging ivy and foliage from the stunning skylight in the room – once that was decided on, the rest all kind of fell into place. “, shared the Bride. ”

As a Northamptonshire wedding videographer I truly enjoyed filming Ginny and Andrew’s beautiful Barton Hall wedding. It was a memorable day full of fun and happiness. “We had a sweetheart table, which meant we had time alone during the meal, we are really grateful to have had this time as we didn’t get to see each other much outside of this as we were busy speaking to our friends and family members. We also loved having our friend Hattie play live music between the meal and the evening reception, it was a really special moment that set the tone for the rest of the evening, it was great having someone we were comfortable with who our friends also knew – and she was just fab! ” explained Ginny.

And here are a few tips from the Bride on how to plan the wedding of your dreams. “Think about the day of the wedding, we stupidly had our wedding the day before the first day of term time, so a lot of our friends and family who worked in schools were unable to truly let their hair down, probably the only thing we would change. You do you… we didn’t want it to be too formal or traditional so we made sure we did what we wanted, for example, we didn’t want a wedding cake or Top Table, so we just didn’t do it, and we have no regrets!”, explained Ginny.
